Nipawin Man Found Not Guilty of Threatening to Kill Prime Minister

An acquittal for a Nipawin man, accused of threatening to kill Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
In Nipawin Provincial Court today (Tue), a judge ruled he had reasonable doubt that 53-year-old David Petersen uttered the threats with intention.
Petersen was arrested February 27th on two counts of Uttering Threats.
RCMP say the incident occurred on February 12th, when a suspect also allegedly threatened to blow up the Parliament Buildings in a telephone call to a Canadian government agency.
