A Hot Start to the Week as Temperature Records Break Around Sask.

It was a scorcher across the region yesterday (Mon), with several temperature records falling.
Prince Albert hit 31.8 degrees, smashing the old mark of 28.9 set 131 years ago in 1888.
In Yorkton, the temperature went up to 31.1 degrees and the overnight low was 16.2 which broke the old mark of 12.2 set in 1941.
New records were also set in Hudson Bay, Indian Head, and Wynyard among others.
In fact, 12 Saskatchewan communities saw new records set yesterday.
