Jail Time For Man Arrested in Yorkton After Roblin Break-In

Sentencing has been handed down to one of two people, arrested following a break, enter, and theft in Roblin.
In Yorkton Provincial Court this (Thu) morning, 49-year-old Gerald Ainsworth of Midland, Ontario was sentenced on Saskatchewan charges to 6 months in jail for possession of a stolen licence plate and two laptop computers.
His co-accused, 42-year-old Ronni Chartrand of Swan River, was remanded in custody for next Thursday in Yorkton.
On September 8th, RCMP say a male and a female suspect broke the lock on the door of a Roblin business, took an unknown quantity of opioids, then fled in a vehicle.
The business owner shared video of the suspects on social media, a Yorkton resident recognized them, and called police.
