Saskatchewan Harvest Still Behind Schedule

Saskatchewan Agriculture reports farmers made some headway with harvest last week, but are still well behind where they would normally be at this time of year.

Province wide, 23% of the crop is now in the bin, the five year average is 50% for this time of year.

An additional 36% of the crop is swathed or ready to straight cut.

Harvest in our east central region is now 12% complete, up from 8% last week.

Harvest is most advanced in the southwest region, at 37% complete.
