Sask. Roughriders, Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Create a New Lottery

The Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital have teamed up to create a new lottery.

The Touchdown for Kids Millionaire Lottery will help fund equipment at the new hospital and finance youth sports and wellness programs across the province through the Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation.

Craig Reynolds, Chair of the Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation Board says the two organizations have been working on the new lottery for some time and more intensely on it over the last 6 months.

The lottery will make someone a millionaire just in time for Christmas with the draw taking place on December 19th. The early bird draw is on November 25th, the day right after the Grey Cup.

Other prizes include 13 brand new vehicles, 6 luxury vacation packages and 41 Roughrider experience packages.

Reynolds says the new partnership means that players from the team will make more trips to visit children at the hospital once it opens next weekend and that tey look forward to bringing their players back to Saskatoon.
