Harvest in the Parkland Region is Moving at a Snail’s Pace

Harvest is slow and crops are suffering.
Saskatchewan Agriculture regional crop specialist in Yorkton, Lyndon Hicks, says cereal crops left in the field are degrading, and there’s still immature canola that is susceptible to frost.
Its not all bad news though.
Hicks says crop yields so far are pretty good.According to last week’s crop report, harvest progress in east central Saskatchewan was approximately 12% complete.
