SaskTel has been joined by five other Crown Corporations and a Crown Agency when it comes to the threat of a strike. Unifor who also represents workers at SaskEnergy, SaskPower, SecurTek, DirectWest, SaskWater, and the Water Security Agency issued a news release on Thursday threatening job action as soon as midnight on Monday. The two sides were expected to begin bargaining again yesterday, after the provincial government said new offers had been made.
