In western Manitoba, farmers south of Highway #1 report harvest is close to 70% complete. Manitoba Agriculture crop specialist Dane Froese says north of #1, harvest is only about 50% complete.

Froese says overall, harvest in Manitoba is approximately 70% complete, down from the 3 year average for this time of year of 85% complete.
