Saskatchewan a Leader in Energy Efficient Home Building

The head of a national think tank on energy issues believes Saskatchewan is a leader in energy efficient home building.
Efficiency Canada’s Corey Diamond says construction of Saskatchewan Conservation House in 1977 was a trail blazer.
He says the structure minimized heat loss and had a highly efficient mechanical system, while utilizing solar panels at a time when natural resources were scarce.
Diamond thinks Saskatchewan is well-positioned to meet the national goal of net-zero energy-ready model building codes by 2030.
