Up to 270-thousand dollars will be spent by the City of Yorkton to develop a Kinsmen Arena Replacement Conceptual Plan. Mayor Bob Maloney was the only council member to vote against it. The plan to build a new ice surface immediately east of the Farrell Agencies Arena, along with the installation of removable field turf in the Nexera Flexi-Hall, could have a price tag of about 14.5-million dollars.
