Sask. MLA’s Return To The Legislature

The final fall session of the Saskatchewan legislature ahead of next year’s provincial election starts today with the speech from the throne. Premier Scott Moe’s agenda is expected to include regulations that would treat vaping and products such as e-cigarettes more like tobacco. Spending decisions will be made against the backdrop of completing a three-year plan to balance the budget. Opposition leader Ryan Meili has accused Moe of picking fights with the federal government while ignoring provincial issues such as classroom sizes and emergency room services.
