The issue of times in Saskatchewan’s emergency rooms was brought up again at in the legislature, with NDP leader Ryan Meili saying  Saskatchewan is among the worst in Canada when it comes to emergency care wait times. The provincial government announced 10 million dollars in funding to help reduce surgical wait times across the province. Health minister Jim Reiter says the province is responding by adding beds to both Pasqua and Royal university hospitals in Regina and Saskatoon.
