Yorkton Car Fire Results in Charges Against A Driver

A 23-year-old Yorkton man has been charged, following a vehicle fire in the city last (TUE) night.
At 8:30 p.m., emergency crews were called to the intersection of Broadway Street East and Highway 9, to deal with a burning vehicle, stemming from a collision, that sent an adult and two youths briefly to hospital for treatment.
Further investigation led to the arrest of the man, whose name hasn’t been released, as alcohol is believed to be a factor in the incident.
He was released from custody, to appear in Yorkton Court on December 16th, facing several charges, including Impaired Driving, and Dangerous Driving Causing Bodily Harm.
