Sask. NDP Wants Provincial Government to Restore Long-Term Care Facilities in Grenfell

The opposition NDP in the Saskatchewan legislature is calling on the Moe government to restore long-term care facilities in Grenfell, about 125 kilometers east of Regina.
Opposition critic Danielle Chartier says there is a critical need for long-term care facilities and Grenfell has been without those facilities for 15 months.
The NDP says the Regina area has lost 194 long term care beds since 2011.
Rural and remote health minister Warren Kaeding says the province is in the midst of proposals and bids and will release results shortly.
