SaskPower is being recognized by the Canadian Electricity Association for some of the environmental, social and economic activities it is doing. The utility has received the Sustainable Electricity Company Designation. SaskPower’s Joel Cherry says this really recognizes a number of the activities the utility is doing, like efforts to consult and engage with Indigenous communities. Eight other utilities in Canada have received the same designation.
