Sask. Trade and Export Minister Returns from Trade Trip to India

Saskatchewan’s Trade and Export Development Minister is back in the province after a trade mission to India.

Jeremy Harrison was promoting Saskatchewan as a reliable provider of agri-food products, potash and uranium to India.

He was also talking to Indian government officials about, among other things, reducing trade barriers, strengthening partnerships, and opportunities to collaborate on research between India and Saskatchewan.
In 2018, Saskatchewan exported $629 million in goods to India, including potash, pulse crops, uranium and semi-chemical wood pulp.
