Two Suspects in a Violent Punnichy-Area Crime Spree were in Regina Provincial Court

Two people charged, following a violent crime spree in the Punnichy area in May, were back in Regina Provincial Court yesterday (MON).
26-year-old Donnelly Nanaquetung, who faces numerous charges, including five counts of Attempted Murder, and 24-year-old Jamie Munroe, who faces 13 charges, including Assault Causing Bodily Harm, remain in custody, and will appear again on December 9th.
On May 22nd, police say a man was struck by a vehicle, then shot, on the Muskowekwan First Nation.
Then, on May 23rd, an altercation on the Piapot First Nation led to one victim allegedly being struck with a machete, and the other being chased to the Muscowpetung First Nation.
