APAS Meets In Regina

An exemption on the carbon tax for farm fuel used in grain drying is expected to be one of the key issues at the APAS meeting, which opens today in Regina. President Todd Lewis says farmers are seeking a federal rebate or exemption on the carbon tax on fuel used for running grain drying equipment this fall. Lewis says other key resolutions will discuss water drainage, seed royalties and rail transportation.
