First Nation firefighters are scheduled to gather on the Keeseekoose First Nation today, for a live fire exercise. It’s set to begin at at 12-noon, and is bringing together firefighters from Keeseekoose First Nation, Cote First Nation, Key First Nation, and Peepeekisis Cree Nation. Members from the Norquay, Pelly, and Kamsack fire departments are also expected to attend. The training exercise is being held to help them build on their skills for fighting structural fires.
