A 12 Year Old Has Been Charged In A Store Fire In Regina

Regina’s fire marshal says the investigation into a Monday night fire that prompted the temporary closing of the north Regina Walmart is complete. Their investigation has concluded with a 12 year-old boy started the fire in the paper towel aisle of the store, prompting the store’s fire alarm system to go off and the building to be evacuated. Randy Ryba says the business will be closed for an undetermined period of time. The youth faces an arson charge, and will appear in court later today.
