Kindersley RCMP are working to determine who fired a gun in a home near the community’s hospital.

Mounties have set up a perimeter in the area of Highway 21 to the north, Highway 7 to the west, south to the hospital and east to Main Street.

They are also trying to determine if there are any other individuals in the residence.

Residents are asked to avoid the area and hold and secures remain in effect at all Kindersley schools.
