Kindersley residents can expect a continued heavy police presence as RCMP investigate a report of a firearm discharged at a residence north of the Kindersley Hospital.

At around 3 o’clock this afternoon (Thurs) RCMP went into the home and discovered a deceased man and woman, and no other individuals inside.

Mounties believe there is no risk to public safety.

The perimeter along Highway 21 to the north, Highway 7 to the west, south to the Kindersley Hospital, and east to Main Street has re-opened.

A perimeter surrounding the residence continues to be secured for further investigation.
