Regina Man Charged in Connection to Numerous Robberies Makes Court Appearance

One of three men charged after numerous robberies on the Muscowpetung First Nation, has a new court date.
21-year-old Michael Obey, of Regina, was back in court yesterday (THURS), on several charges, including Armed Robbery, and he remains in custody, with his next appearance set for January 8th, in Regina.
His co-accused, 25-year-old Jarrett Poitras, of the Muscowpetung First Nation, remains in custody, with a preliminary hearing set for February 3rd, while a third suspect – 27-year-old Jere Pinacie – is still wanted by police.
On March 4th, RCMP say a convenience store on the reserve was robbed of money and tobacco products, and then on July 23rd, the same store was robbed, and a home on the reserve was broken into.
