The recent decision by federal Conservative leader Andrew Scheer to step down, caught the M-P for Yorkton-Melville by surprise. Cathay Wagantall was disappointed by the announcement, and says he won’t be easy to replace. She is pleased Scheer has agreed to stay on as leader, until a new leader is chosen in April, but adds .it’s too early to say who she will be supporting at the leadership convention.
