Dauphin Man Sentenced for Armed Robbery

A Dauphin man arrested in connection with an armed robbery in that city, has admitted his guilt.
On the evening of June 24th, a lone male entered the Husky gas station on Main Street, carrying a long-barrelled gun, and demanded money.
Two employees were struck with the weapon, and the suspect took cash and cigarettes, before fleeing on foot.
18-year-old Michael Chartrand was in Dauphin Provincial Court yesterday (Tue), where he was sentenced to 5 years in prison, less time already served.
