Youth Sentenced For Role in Yorkton-Area Firearm Theft

Sentencing has been handed down to a male youth, for his role in a break and enter to a shop, that resulted in the theft of a firearm.
In Yorkton Provincial Court today (Fri), the boy, who can’t be named due to his age, received 12 months of probation.
In October, his co-accused, 19-year-old Clayton Fenwick, was sentenced to 7-and-a-half months in jail, followed by 9 months of probation.
The other two co-accused, Tanner Seafoot and Austin Young, were each sentenced to three months in jail plus probation in October as well, for their roles in the incident.
On August 8th, two people broke into a shop north of  Yorkton, and stole a firearm, liquor, and some tools.
