Tomorrow is Christmas Day, and SaskTel is expecting to handle a lot of calls, texts and other data usage. The phone company’s Tim Jones is expecting more than 1.8 million calls placed and 1.3 million calls received, and over 24 million text messages to be sent. He also says they’re expecting an increase in voice calls, as people shy away from texts or messaging, and opt for a more personal touch.
