The Co-Op Strike-Lockout Continues

It’s been a month since 700 unionized workers at the Regina Co-Op refinery were locked them out after Unifor sent a strike notice. The refinery has been using helicopters to ferry replacement workers and supplies into the site. The union,  has been accused of putting up blockades, intimidating replacement workers and slashing the tires of semi’s waiting to get into the facility. Pensions are one of the main sticking points in the dispute.
