The number of lab confirmed flu cases in Saskatchewan continues to rise. The week of December 22nd to 28th saw 198 new cases, bringing the total since September 1st to 535. Saskatchewan Health says 9 people were admitted to ICU since the beginning of the flu season and there have been five deaths. There have been a total of 17 outbreaks in long term care facilities since September 1st.
