63 Canadians are among the dead after a Boeing 7-37 800 series airliner crashed shortly after take-off from Tehran, Iran. The Ukraine International Airline flight carried 176 passengers and crew, and was bound for Kyiv, Ukraine. The plane crashed in farmland outside of Tehran, and authorities initially blamed a mechanical problem for the crash.
