Attempted Break-in to Yorkton Liquor Store Leads to Jail for Keeseekoose Man

A suspect arrested in connection with an attempted break-in to the downtown Yorkton Liquor Store, has admitted his guilt.
In Yorkton Provincial Court this (Wed) morning, 25-year-old Stevie Straightnose of the Keeseekoose First Nation plead guilty to Break and Enter With Intent, Impaired Driving, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
He was sentenced to five months in jail, to be followed by a one-year driving ban.
Yorkton RCMP are still trying to determine the identity of the second suspect in yesterday’s (Tue) incident.
