FSIN Wants More Work Done to Reduce Drinking Water Advisories on First Nations

Ottawa says they’re on track to make their commitment of lifting every long-term drinking water advisory on reserves by March of next year.
While 87 have been lifted, 7 continue, including one that’s been in force since November, 2018 on the Little Pine First Nation, northwest of North Battleford.
Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations chief Bobby Cameron says the federal government is making slow progress of addressing the issue, and he says more needs to be done.
