As cold as its been this week, the all-time record for power consumption in Saskatchewan was not broken.
SaskPower spokesman Joel Cherry says it came close on Tuesday evening (Jan. 14) at 3,722 megawatts.
The benchmark is 3,792 megawatts that was set in December, 2017.
Cherry says he has a feeling if the record will be broken, it may happen in the next couple of days.
