The Yorkton Salvation Army Food Bank is moving to a new spot in the city from their current Betts Avenue location.

The Food Bank will be located in the back section of the Parkland Community Church at 78 Front Street in Yorkton.

In a news release, Lieutenant Samuel Tim says, “We are excited about this new partnership with Parkland Community Church. Our mission is to give hope to individuals and families in Yorkton and the surrounding areas and these new facilities will allow us to broaden our programming and provide us with more opportunities to assist those who are struggling financially.”

Tim says they will be moving in on February 1st and will hold a grand opening on February 6th.
