The historic Dauphin courthouse will undergo major renovations as part of ongoing efforts to modernize Manitoba’s courts.

Justice Minister Cliff Cullen says the courthouse will be expanded and fully renovated, at an estimated cost of more than 11-million dollars.

However, the aging Dauphin Correctional Centre will be closed down by the end of May.
