Robyn Silvernagle and her rink out of North Battleford clinched the first spot in the playoffs at the 2020 Viterra Scotties in Melville after defeating Michelle Englot out of Regina 7-6 on Saturday night in the A-Qualifier.
The defending champions with the win have booked their spot into the 1 vs. 2 Page Playoff game on Monday night at the Horizon Credit Union Center.
Englot now drops down to the B-Event and will battle Ashley Howard in a B-Event game on Sunday afternoon.
The other B-Event semi final has Penny Barker of Moose Jaw up against Saskatoon’s Sherry Anderson.
Sunday’s action will kick off with three C-event elimination games at 10AM which includes Rae Williamson against Jana Tisdale, Amber Holland up against Shalon Fleming while Mandy Selzer tangles with Lorraine Schneider of Regina.
