Two people facing several charges in connection with a vehicle theft earlier this month in Regina, was back in court yesterday (TUES).
On December 10th, 38-year-old George Longman, of the Punnichy district, and 30-year-old Chantelle Bird, of Regina, were arrested after the vehicle’s owner contacted On-Star, who immobilized it.
Bird was in Regina yesterday, where she pled guilty to Theft of a Motor Vehicle, and was sentenced to 99 days in jail, to be followed by 18 months of probation.
Longman was released from custody earlier this month, and he will be back in court next Thursday (Feb. 6th).
