Regina has recorded 4 murders in the 1st month of 2020, but despite that Police Chief Evan Bray says it is not systematic of the city becoming more dangerous. 3 of the murders took place in a 48 hour span. Bray wouldn’t say if drugs or alcohol are behind what we are seeing, but he did say that combination along with weapons does create a dangerous mix. Regina had nine homicides in all of 2019.
