As of yesterday (Thurs) 3 tests have been done for the coronavirus and there are no lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba at this time.
Any Manitobans who recently traveled to Wuhan, China or come in contact with a traveler with symptoms such as a cough, fever, sore throat, runny nose, headache, or breathing difficulties should contact their health-care provider.
There are now four confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Canada – 3 in Ontario and 1 in B.C.
Common preventative measures for viruses include washing your hands frequently and covering your mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing.
