New Court Date for Muscowpetung First Nation Robbery Suspect

One of three men charged after numerous robberies on the Muscowpetung First Nation, has a new court date.
The preliminary hearing for 25-year-old Jarrett Poitras, of the Muscowpetung First Nation, began yesterday (MON) in Fort Qu’Appelle, and he remains in custody, with the prelim set to continue there on March 2nd,
His co-accused, 21-year-old Michael Obey, of Regina, will appear again on March 17th, in Regina, while a third suspect, 27-year-old Jere Pinacie, is still wanted by police.
On March 4th, RCMP say a convenience store on the reserve was robbed of money and tobacco products, and then on July 23rd, the same store was robbed, and a home on the reserve was broken into.
