Indigenous students from the Parkland College will be taking part of a project on the Ocean Man First Nation.

The Tiny House Project officially launched Monday, teaching students life and employability skills over the next five months.

The students will also learn construction skills and will build an environmentally responsible tiny house from the ground up.

Building materials, tools and appliances will be donated and the finished home will be awarded to a family within the community.
