Swan River RCMP are investigating a shooting incident in the town.

Just before 2 o’clock this (Thu) morning, they were called to a disturbance and possible gunshot on 9th Avenue South.

They found a 25-year-old Swan River man suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower body, and he was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A firearm was located in the vicinity of the shooting, but no suspect has been arrested at this time.
