Preliminary Hearing set for Yorkton-Area Man Accused of Violent Home Invasion

A Yorkton-area man accused of taking the lead role in a violent home invasion in the city, has appeared in court again.
34-year-old Louie Pelletier, also known as Louie Peepeetch, was in Yorkton today (Thu), where he was remanded in custody for a Preliminary Inquiry on April 22nd.
Last February, a man allegedly kicked in a door on Ashwood Place, and was brandishing a knife.
The same suspect stole jewelry from a number of people inside.
Last May, his co-accused, 27-year-old Frankie Quewezance, admitted his guilt, and was sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison, but was given credit for time served of 99 days.
