A Preeceville man who admitted to a serious sexual assault in that community, has filed an appeal.
The Court of Appeal heard the case of 21-year-old Shawn Pasiechnik yesterday (Thu), but reserved its decision.
In December of 2017, a woman and her child were in their Preeceville residence, when a masked man, armed with a firearm, broke in, and sexually assaulted the woman.
In Yorkton Provincial Court last June, Pasiechnik was sentenced to 10 years in prison, but was given credit for 224 days already served in custody.
