A 29-year-old man is in custody after allegedly barricading himself inside a home in the Eclipse area, east of Dauphin.

Around 2:11 this morning (Tues) RCMP received a report of a man armed with a weapon and that a female was still inside the home with possible injuries.

The RCMP’s Negotiation Team and Emergency Response Team was deployed to the scene, then at approximately 10:43 a.m. the suspect exited the residence and surrendered to Mounties.

The 21-year-old woman was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The investigation continues.
