Man Injured While Being Arrested by Kamsack RCMP, Pleads Not Guilty to Charges

A new court date has been set for a man, who was injured while being arrested by the Kamsack RCMP.
On November 28th, Mounties responded to a report of a woman being held against her will at a residence on the Cote First Nation.
When police arrived, the suspect escaped from the home through a window, and during a foot chase, he slipped on the ice and hit his head.
The Estevan Police Service has been called in to review the incident.
34-year-old Frederick Cote appeared in Kamsack this (Tue) morning, where he pled not guilty, and was remanded in custody for his trial on May 20th and 21st.
