Swan Valley Medical Services Committee Hopes to Meet with Health Minister Cameron Friesen Regarding New CT Scanner

The medical services committee in the Swan Valley continues to work toward purchasing a new CT scanner, to serve patients in the area.
Committee chair Duane Whyte says they currently have over 900-thousand dollars raised for the new machine, but he notes that along with the new unit, the space in which to use it, will need to be improved.
Whyte says the committee is still hoping to meet with Health Minister Cameron Friesen, to inquire about provincial funding to expand the space for the new scanner.
