The man who allegedly barricaded himself inside a home in the Eclipse area, east of Dauphin, has appeared in court again.

29-year-old Robert Brown was in Dauphin yesterday (Thu), where he was remanded in custody for Tuesday.

In the early morning hours of Tuesday, RCMP received a report of a man armed with a weapon, and that a female was inside the home with possible injuries.

The RCMP’s Negotiation Team and Emergency Response Team were deployed to the scene, and the suspect surrendered to Mounties later that morning.

A 21-year-old woman was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
