Most municipalities in Saskatchewan have been consistently increasing property taxes in recent years. The Canadian Federation of Independent Business says this is taking a toll on small business owners. Spokeperson Jennifer Henshaw says some municipalities are doing a better job of protecting small businesses than others. Henshaw says with the recent announcement of increased revenue sharing, the CFIB believes a tax freeze is possible for many municipalities across Saskatchewan come 2021.
