A YRHS Student Gets A National Scholarship

4 Saskatchewan high school students are among 36 from across Canada getting a Loran Scholarship worth up to $100 thousand, and Connor Watrych from Yorkton Regional is one of them. The competition for the scholarships were held earlier this month in Toronto, and saw 52 hundred entrants. The scholarship money is over four years for undergraduate studies in Canada, and is based on evidence of character, community involvement and leadership potential. Other Saskatchewan winners were. Kaiden Thompson of Indian Head, Kylie Flynn of Saskatoon, and Regina’s Sabah Sharif.
